Cue the trumpet and percussion sections, the 2012 Summer Olympics are here!

You probably have plans to hunker down in-front of your television over the course of the next two weeks, but why not get some fresh air and attend one of the many Olympic-sized viewing parties taking place on Capitol Hill?

If we forgot to add your favorite bar or restaurant to the list, just leave viewing party details in the comment thread after the jump.

On Friday night, Biergarten Haus will host an Olympic viewing party for the opening ceremonies, live from London. Happy hour runs until 7 pm and diners will receive 10 percent off their bill if you wear a USA national jersey (not valid on tables using the Groupon deal).

Across the street at The Queen Vic, the bar and restaurant pays homage to the host country. Whenever Great Britain wins a gold medal, the bar will celebrate with $4 Newcastle beer all-day long. The tuck shop is also worth a visit for any condiments or specialty foods imported direct from the UK. And, the kitchen plans to roll out a Olympic-themed menu. Each food special represents a different color of the Olympic rings:

Blue Ring = Fish Pie
Yellow Ring = Baked Cheese with Rustic House-made Bread
Black Ring = Oysters, Bacon & Cabbage with a Stout
Green Ring = Spinach Linguine
Red
 Ring = Meatloaf

All food and drinks specials at The Queen Vic are available between the opening and closing ceremonies.

On the Southeast side of the Hill, head on over to Wisdom to watch the Olympic games on the big screen. According to Twitter, a team USA cocktail may be in order too.

Join the folks at the Hill Center for free, kid-friendly viewings. You can cheer-on Team USA while watching the big screen projector.  Viewings start Friday for the opening ceremony from 7:30-10 p.m. Check the website for additional weekend times.

And, if you’re more in the mood for a British-themed burger or shake, check out Good Stuff Eatery. From now until August 12th, chef Spike Mendelsohn will be serving up a Brit Burgers with smoked English cheddar, caramelized onions and horseradish mayo, as well as a Sticky Toffee milkshake to wash it all down.

Did we forget your Olympic viewing party? Add additional recommendations for where to watch in the comment thread below…
